Supplier Diversity

Integrys Energy Group and its subsidiaries support the growth of business opportunities with companies that are certified as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).

  • A qualified disadvantaged business is at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by one or more of the following groups; minority, women, or other certified socially and economically disadvantaged person(s).
  • Additionally, a certified minority business is defined as significantly and actively operated by one or more of the following groups: African American, Hispanic American, Asian American, Asian Pacific American, Subcontinent Asian American and Native American.

Disadvantaged suppliers are subject to the same competitive evaluation standards that apply to all suppliers in general. Integrys Energy Group tracks and maintains a record of disadvantaged companies we do business with, including spend data, within our Supply Chain Services software system.

Our outreach program emphasizes using local and national disadvantaged business directories as part of our sourcing process. The outreach program recognizes and promotes increased use of DBEs as a means of fostering economic growth, developing additional qualified sources of supply and increasing the tax base in the communities we serve.

If you are interested in open bidding events for services or materials which Integrys Energy Group plans to purchase, information about your company is required prior to becoming a bidder for Integrys events. Register on our secure supplier site and submit the information requested. You will receive an e-mail with your user ID and password to access the system and participate in possible bidding activities.
